Fantastic boutique hotel, very quirky and cool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area was perfect for us, 10 minute walk to Montmatre and Pigal. We had tickets to see the Moulin Rouge and were able to walk from the hotel and back. There were so many places to eat, literally 5 minutes from the hotel. It was a longer walk of about 25 minutes down to the busier, touristy attractions like Eiffel Tower, but you can also get the Metro from Pigal, which was a 5-minute walk away. Our room was more spacious than I thought it would be, and there was a second bedroom for my daughter with a single bed, which was also a decent size too. A nice feature was the lovely big shutters to open with a nice view. If you struggle with stairs, it's maybe not the hotel for you, There is a small elevator which was very rustic but very narrow. The elevator added to the charm of the boutique hotel but not really suitable if you need wheel chair access. We got an Uber from the airport as we got in late, which was only 39 euros, which was pretty good. I would definitely go back to stay there, and hopefully soon. Paris was an amazing place to visit.

Breakfast: coffee was surprisingly not bad for Paris, I would be happy to have also some yogurt or banana and not only bread and croissants with jam, but maybe it’s national thing. But the croissants were also good. The building: the fact that Louis Armstrong was staying there giver 15268292 points to the vibe of the place. The elevator was from the beginning of the previous century, so if you have overweighted luggage or you are a big human yourself it will be potentially problematic to fit in. For us was okay even to walk by stairs to the 5th level. The room number: very nice and big bathroom, nice view, a bit stiff bed, but depends on your preferences, from pictures on booking I didn’t expect this room number, but wasn’t bad anyways. Neighborhood: I love Montmartre and I stay in this neighborhood every visit to Paris. It’s quite calm, yet historical. Not too far from everywhere, many nice restaurants, beautiful view from cathedral in 10 min by walk.

I highly recommend this hotel. It was clean, functional, and pleasantly located close to a very nice bakery and Italian restaurant. If you are there, go to Boulangerie Bob a few steps down the street if you go out of the hotel to the end of the street and turn left. Few steps up from the bakery is the Italian restaurant with awesome pizza. The staff were exceptionally sweet and helpful. Heartfelt thanks to Ruth and Elena for all the help and support. Awesome young ladies. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. There is a bus station (85 Chatelet) just facing the before mentioned bakery, but I am not great with busses 🙈 Train stations are a few minute walk (7-8, there are 3, Anvers, Pigale, and one other) just like anywhere else in Europe. Love ❤️

Beautiful interior design details. Clearly it’s a property made with love and good taste. Staff knows what they are doing and recommended excelente restaurants. Great value for money. Loved the great magazines spread throughout the hotel and the old school key.
